Orchids just up the road (1st June)
Whilst on the minibus back to campus after finishing at the moth trapping, I noticed what looked like orchid spikes at the side of the roundabout, only 100 meters up the road from the campus. Since they were so close, I decided to check them out later in the day and sure enough, on my return I counted a total of 28 Early-purple Orchid spikes!
