Still no luck with the Little Bittern (14th June)

The Little Bittern hadn't been recorded for nearly two days so our hopes of finding it were relatively slim.  Non the less Alan Corner, Cliff and I tried our luck for the Little Bittern at Stockers Lake (my second attempt).  Unfortunately no sign of the bird.  Instead we noted 1 Red Kite, 1♂ Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, 1 Hobby and a singing Cetti's Warbler in the usual spot on the causeway near the bench.  I also caught a short glimpse of the resident Kingfisher and had my first GARDEN WARBLER of the year.

a Mute Swan flying directly past us, luckily had the camera on hand, no zoom
