the River Gade running through Croxley Common Moor
I had literally just finished all my A2 exams so I paid a brief visit to Croxley Common Moor for some well earned birding. Naturally not much was about, given the time of year but it still managed to calm me down after the stress. The only bird of note was a single Little Egret. Butterflies were more abundant (although significantly lower in number in comparison to last year), I saw in summary, Small Heath, Red Admiral, Meadow Brown and Small Tortoiseshell.
