After a stressful chemistry coursework day I decided to spend an hour going down Barnes Lane to try and refined the breeding pair of Little Owls which I had not seen on several of my past visits. Very little was of note behind the school except for several
Fieldfare and
Redwing gorging themselves on the holly tree berries with
2 Song Thrushes amongst them. However, I was glad to find
1ad. LITTLE OWL (a year tick) perched on the usual protruding perch from the avenue of poplar trees after the small hamlet at Barnes Farm.
